Privacy Policy

Positive.Store ("the App") is a point-of-sale application that connects to your organization's own Positive ERP server. This policy explains what information the App handles, how it is used, and the choices you have. We keep it simple because our data practices are simple: your business data belongs to you and stays on your own server.

1. Information the App Collects

  • Account information — your name, email address / username, and role, used to sign in to your organization's Positive ERP server.

  • Business records — items, prices, customers, and the sales invoices you create while using the point of sale.

  • Device identifier — a random identifier for your device installation, used to associate offline sales with the correct terminal.

  • Diagnostics — anonymous crash reports and performance data, used solely to fix bugs and improve stability.

2. How Information Is Used

The information above is used only to operate the point of sale: authenticating you, syncing items, prices, and customers from your ERP server, recording sales, and printing or displaying receipts. We do not sell personal data, show third-party advertising, or use your data for marketing or cross-app tracking.

3. Where Data Is Stored

Business data is stored in two places only:

  • Your organization's Positive ERP server — the server address is chosen by you or your employer at sign-in. We do not operate or access this server.

  • Locally on your device — the App is offline-first, so a working copy of items, customers, and pending invoices is kept in a local database on the device and synced back to your server when a connection is available.

4. Camera Access

The App requests camera access solely to scan product barcodes at checkout. Camera frames are processed on the device in real time and are never stored or transmitted.

5. Crash Reporting

The App uses a crash-reporting service (Sentry) to receive anonymous error reports when something goes wrong. These reports contain technical information (device model, OS version, stack trace) and do not include your business records.

6. Data Sharing

We do not share your data with third parties. Data flows only between your device and the ERP server your organization controls. No analytics, advertising, or data-broker SDKs are included in the App.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

Local data can be removed at any time by signing out or uninstalling the App. Data stored on your organization's ERP server is governed by your organization's own policies — contact your administrator to request access, correction, or deletion of records held there.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is a business tool intended for use by merchants and their staff. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above.
